About the lecture
Diarrheal diseases transmitted via food still pose a major public health problem in both low and high income countries. Steen Ethelberg tells the public health story of a few important foodborne bacterial infections: Salmonella, Campylobacter and Listeria. He focus on their epidemiology, major outbreaks and recent progress in managing the infections in Denmark.
