Who are we?
PlanBørnefonden is part of Plan International who operates in over 70 countries. Our aim is to advance the rights of children and young people in the most vulnerable and fragile areas of the world, with a special focus on girls who are particularly afflicted by inequality. PlanBørnefonden is one of Denmark's largest privately funded child rights organisations.
The Program Department at PlanBørnefonden develops and manages various projects and programs in collaboration with local colleagues and partners for approx. 15 different program countries, primarily in Africa. Our work is centred on the following priority areas:

About the job
As a Student Assistant, you will support the general work at the Program Department. This involves assignments of developing and running our various program efforts in collaboration with colleagues and partners in the program countries. Your tasks will include:
Planning of the regular meetings and seminars at the Program Department.
Organise knowledge sharing, professional exchange and strategy development.
Support the program development, application processes, program implementation, and
communication of experiences and results.
Facilitate selected tasks, such as minor analyses for use in the program work (e.g., situational analysis
on selected themes / countries).
Continuously update of the Program Department's learning and documentation platform, travel
activities, status of project portfolio, annual goals, etc.
Various administrative and practical tasks such as coordinating meetings and delegations from/to
countries abroad, translation, proofreading, etc.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate is studying at a relevant higher education, preferably International Business & Politics, Political Science, Development Studies, Development Economics, Public Health or similar. In addition, you have an interest in, and preferably experience with, development work on a global level. You are an experienced user of both Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Our work language at PlanBørnefonden is English, and therefore, you must be fluent in English (written and spoken). In addition, we have a large commitment in francophone countries in West Africa and increasingly in Arab countries in the Middle East. Thus, French or Arabic at an advanced level is clearly an advantage. In addition, we emphasize:

That you are determined, structured, and self-driven.
That you have good grades from your studies.
That you have 1-3 years left of your studies.
The position is up to 15 hours a week (this can be adjusted to fit your studies).
