Student Assistant in Global Doctors

About Global Doctors

Global Doctors (GD) is a non-profit organization. We promote Universal Health Coverage with a focus on human resources for health and health systems. We aim at doing advocacy for Global Health and building bridges between science, civil society and decision makers.

Position and Responsibilities

We are looking for a student assistant, who will be in charge of supporting the activities of the communication group and the board. You will have monthly assignments, which we expect that you can complete seeking advice from the board or communication group. The working hours will be approximately 5 hours per month during one year. There is great flexibility in the time management of your work, but you must show the results of your monthly tasks at the board meetings. The tasks will be focusing on promoting the work of Global Doctors by writing newsletters, putting up posters with upcoming events, updating the webpage and Facebook page as well as supporting the work of the board.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a person interested in Global health with the ability to work independently and with excellent time management skills. The specific requirements are as follows:

  • Resident in Denmark.
  • Relevant BA/MA educational degree in health sciences: Public health, Global Health or other relevant BA/MA.
  • Knowledge of/skills in WordPress and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Fluency in oral and written English.
