Red Cross Denmark are looking for two interns

Background
Danish Red Cross (DRC) is part of the global Red Cross Movement, which includes national Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies in 190 countries, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescents (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The purpose of DRC’s international activities is to increase and strengthen humanitarian impact, to inspire and act for human dignity, resilience and social cohesion.

The international work of DRC is organized in three units: International Programs and Disaster Management, which have the operational responsibility for DRCs international development cooperation and emergency responses respectively; and International Support (IS), with the main objective of providing technical support to the international cooperation, including program development, monitoring and quality assurance.

DRC International Support team is looking for one intern for the spring of 2018

Intern to humanitarian diplomacy and advocacy:

The humanitarian diplomacy/advocacy intern will support the final development and role out of the DRC international department main advocacy areas for 2018-19. The intern will also support the international department in staying on top of current events and ensure that DRC remains a go-to actor for the media on humanitarian issues.

DRC Health services supported by ICT technology is looking for one intern for the spring of 2018

Intern to health services:

Recognizing that the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) including e-Health is rapidly transforming the delivery of health services and systems. This internship aims at supporting a mapping of existing ICT opportunities within health service delivery, guiding notes and action plan for integrating innovation in DRC’s global health portfolio through use of ICT, including support of DRC’s partnership with other Red Cross partners in emergency health
