2024 TOPIC: GLOBAL HEALTH IN MOTION

The fourth edition of Global Health Film Days is back at Cinemateket! Running from 15 - 21 April 2024, the festival brings a new set of thought-provoking documentaries right to the heart of Copenhagen.

Global Health in Motion, the theme of this years’ film selection, explores the ever-evolving landscape of Global Health - sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively. Embark on a voyage through the tireless strides of migrants and healthcare workers traversing borders, immerse yourself in the journey of patients seeking answers and the sanctuary of care; or delve into an exploration of transforming political landscapes and narratives of the human body. Join us as we inspect the core pillars of Global Health, reflect on its history and contemplate its future. 

With eight unique documentary screenings in addition to a series of short films, Global Health Film Days 2024 will present a selection of expert panel discussions, keynote speakers, as well as interactive and creative activities. We invite you to come along and experience the power of storytelling in shaping our understanding of health and humanity. From intimate personal narratives to sweeping global issues, our films aim to inspire, challenge, and ignite conversation that transcend traditional ways of thinking.
