Sucessful PhD course on Rapid Assessment Research
From October 8-19, Dr David Beran from the University of Geneva and Dr Alessandro Demaio of University of Copenhagen (UCPH) ran the first PhD course on Rapid Assessment Research at the Copenhagen School of Global Health.
With a team of lecturers from UCPH and abroad, this two week course covered research methods, ethics, practical research skills and trained the participants in this timely, in-field style of research.
Participants were from a range of backgrounds including medical doctors, disaster specialists, epidemiologists and scientists.
Given the positive feedback, the course is planned as a biennial course, and will run again in 2014.
