Student Forum Maastricht: Annual Student Conference

Apply now for the SFM Modern Healthcare working group. The Student Forum Maastricht conference takes place from 19 to 23 April 2017 in Brussels and offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in policy-making, to meet professionals and to make new friends from all over Europe. Under the guidance of experts, and with a small group of students, you will develop a policy proposal for the European Commission! 

Students can apply for one of our four working groups:

  1. Modern Healthcare in Europe
  2. Trafficking in Human Beings
  3. Youth Participation in the EU
  4. Sustainable Metropoles

What is Student Forum Maastricht?

Student Forum Maastricht (SFM) is an annual student conference that offers international students the possibility to discuss European Union related topics. In cooperation with the Europeam Commission the students draft policy proposals for relevent policy fields presenting their ideas and suggestions. SFM is a foundation based at the Faculty of Arts Social Sciense (FASoS) of Maastricht University. The team organising SFM consist of students partly from Maastricht University and elsewhere. With the support and advice of team members from previous conferences continuity and experience-sharing in preparing the event is ensured.

SFM 2017 edition

SFM 2017 takes place at the Maastricht University Campus in Brussels from 19th to the 23th og April. Four different working groups, each with 10 participants, vwill prepare a policy proposal for the Europeam Commission. During the discussioin students are accompanied by professionals from the Commision, NGOs, private companies or universities.
