Conference on Occupational Health and Safety in Formal and Informal Mining

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the city of Odense in Denmark, birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, will be the venue of the International Scientific Conference and Workshop on Occupational Health and Safety in Formal and Informal Mining, to be held from 22 to 25 August 2017. You are cordially invited to participate in the Conference, organized by the ICOH Scientific Committee on Mining Occupational Safety and Health (SC MinOSH), in collaboration with the Nordic Institute for Advanced Training in Occupational Health (NIVA).

The scientific program will cover major topics of interest related to current research and solution implementation in occupational health and safety in mining. The conference and workshop will focus on health and safety issues, the work environment, and sustainable alternatives for reducing mining-related health effects and environmental pollution. The program will encompass presentations during the conference and special training on selected topics during the workshop.
